Beaches at Noosa North Shore

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN. THERE WILL BE NO ON THE DAY REGISTRATIONS DUE TO ACCOMMODATION AND CATERING REQUIREMENTS. READ ON AND THEN GO TO THE RIDE PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION.

Ride4Life will be running their charity Long ride this year to Noosa. This has the effect of combining riders and public raising awareness of Mental Health issues and suicide prevention and starting conversations to stop the Stigma.

Where Does Your Registration Fee Go?

This is a very important question. There are so many charities around these days that simply do not disclose where their event money actually goes. With Ride4Life Charity Ride Events it is very simple.

We charge you a registration fee as a rider and as a pillion. From this amount there are deductions for PayPal fees and a ride patch as a memento for the ride.

Your 'ticket' to ride covers all admin work done in organising the ride and organising the accommodation along the way. It does not include the cost of accommodation which is at your own expense. Sharing with others reduces this cost considerably and enhances the camaraderie of the ride. The admin fee stays with Ride4Life and funds our administration costs for the next year. This ride is our major way of supporting our organisation. There are other components of the registration fee to cover other costs on the ride which are detailed on the registration page.

Do I Have To Register Online?

Yes, registrations online are important due to accommodation and catering requirements. Go to the ride page for more information. Most importantly, your online registration allows us to tell coffee vendors and end destination lunch suppliers our numbers. We would hate to see people missing out on lunch. It will also allow you to set up a fundraising page before the ride to promote our chosen charity. This is a great opportunity for you to create conversations before the ride about mental health awareness, suicide prevention and the work that the Path of the Horse does in fighting mental health issues including PTSD.

If you want to donate more to the Path of The Horse, you can do it when you register anyway or directly to your own fundraising page when you set it up. More details about this will be provided to people who register. In the meantime, you can visit the Path of the Horse website to learn more about them.

Our Projects

We do not contribute direct to our beneficiaries as this money could be used for administration. As a group, we are not interested in raising funds for other people's administration. The funds raised for the Path of the Horse will be allocated to a specific project that assists people on the front line.

How It Works

Select the ride that suits you to attend and Register on line for the ride. All rides are run by experienced riders and they are not intended to be a race. We ride in staggered formation wherever possible to keep the group together. This also means no-one passes the lead rider and remains in the group.

How Can You Help?

Obviously you can ride with us. Links to the registration pages are below. If you can't ride, you can certainly walk with the Path of the Horse. One thing we would appreciate is if you can share the events on your Facebook, Twitter or other social media to get the word out there and help us raise money for our projects.

So why not pop on over to the Noosa Ride 2018 registration link for more details and come along on a ride you will never forget.
