Elvis at Heartbreak Hotel

Friday 02nd April 2021
Day 1. *Leaving Darwin *Meet at McDonalds Coolalinga Stuart Highway and leaving at 08.00. *Ride to Katherine and meet Katherine Riders at Puma for Lunch. *Leave Puma at 12.30 to ride to Daly Waters Pub for first night. *Purchase of own meal through pub available. *Rooms are also available. *Plus, the campgrounds if you are tenting or swagging it. 

Saturday 03rd April 2021
Day 2. *Leave at 9.00 am for the ride to Heartbreak Hotel with fuel up at Hi Way Inn. 2 routes to choose from. *1st along Carpentaria Highway with fuel stop at rest area about 100 k short of Heartbreak. THIS WILL ONLY BE LIMITED AND ONLY 91 as that is all that is available at Heartbreak. * 2nd route is to Roper Bar along Roper Highway then along Nathan River Road to Heartbreak. **This is a gravel road so only suitable for adventure bike riders or the brave ones who want a challenge. *Saturday night at Heartbreak Hotel with meal provided by Heartbreak at $25.00 per head. *Games and raffle will be held with a lot of laughs I hope. *Along with a best dressed prize. *Rooms and cabins are limited but camping area is big so plenty of room for all.

Sunday 04th April 2021
Day 3. *Sunday is a ride back to Mataranka Homestead *Leaving at 9am to allow time to fuel up and have breakfast. *Rooms and camping facilities available at The Homestead with a sausage sizzle dinner for $2.00 available. *Or if you prefer dinner can be purchased from the Homestead instead.

Monday 05th April 2021
Day 4. *Monday 5/4 is a ride home either in a group or at your own pace with stops along the way for refuel, drinks and food. *Leaving around 9am from Homestead. To allow for the sore heads to recover. *To arrive back in Darwin around lunchtime or mid-afternoon at the latest.
