Ride The Apple Isle 2020
This year Ride4Life will be riding the Apple Isle from the 28th March to the 4th April. This promises to be an exciting ride as we circumnavigate the State. Tasmania has so many wonderful attractions and magnificent scenery.
Why not join us on this fantastic trip where we will be promoting mental health awareness and suicide prevention as we talk to as many people as possible on our tour.
If you would rather hire a bike in Tassie than take your own, then you can contact TASMANIAN Motorcycle Tours and Rentals (TMTR). They operate out of Hobart, so you would need to fly to Hobart and ride to Devonport to meet the group. Phil Ogden from TMTR has advised us that they presently have 2 BMW R1200 GS bikes and 3 Triumph Tiger 800s. TMTR have offered to contribute 5% of rental cost to Ride4Life.
The registration fee includes a commemorative Tshirt, a patch for your jacket, stickers and a contribution to the support vehicle that will accompany us on the trip. This is a total cost in extras of $55 for riders and $40 for pillions. Ride registration is only $50 for riders and $30 for pillions in order to keep the costs as low as possible given the ferry ride to Tasmania. You will need to book this yourself. We understand the cost will be $388 return for rider and bike and $240 for a pillion. You can book your journey at the Spirit of Tasmania website.
